Problems about Playing DVD in Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD Player

We often encounter this problem that the DVD disc can only be played in PC but can’t be correctly played in DVD player. What should we do? Generally speaking, many factors will cause the failure. Here is a detailed explanation:

  1. The family DVD player has been out of date and it doesn’t support the file codec.
  2. Poor disc compatibility.
  3. Incorrect format of the disc.
  4. Improper parameter settings before the burning.

Thus, you may change for a new DVD player or a new disc with better compatibility. While, how to set the format and the parameters correctly is still a question. This guide is intended to help you play DVD smoothly in Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD Player with DVD maker software. However, this method is also suitable for other family DVD players.

For stability and fast speed, I chose Sothink Movie DVD Maker Free Version to convert and burn my discs. This DVD maker burns all formats videos to DVD. So, do not worry about your video format.
