To set the program options for DVD Converter, you may go to the menu and click "Options" under "Tools".
General
Under tab "General", click button "Check Now" to check update of the program immediately. It supports automatic updates and the time interval for auto updates can be set in dialog "Settings" appeared after clicking button "Settings".
DVD
Click the drop down buttons of "Audio" and "Subtitle" to select your preferred language for your output video.
- Rip DVD in DVDNav mode
DVD Ripper supports ripping DVD in DVDNav mode and non-DVDNav mode. If you fail to rip some movies in the default non-DVDNav mode, you may tick the options "Rip DVD in DVDNav mode" and try again.
- Show DVD main title only
It is selected to only show DVD main title by default. We suggest you should keep this settings for reducing the time of DVD analyzing.
- Hide DVD titles that are shorter than
Tick option "Hide DVD titles that are shorter than" and set the number. This option is for helping you jump over some advertisement or other unnecessary clips and directly rip DVD movie to video.
- Extract thumbnail for each title while opening a DVD
Be default, it is set to extract thumbnail for each title while opening a DVD.
Encoding
DVD Converter supports multiple CPUs and multiple core CPUs, and supports concurrent conversion for multiple DVD titles with high speed. Here under tab "Encoding", users may choose the maximum number of CPU cores to use from the drop down menu if there is more than one CPU cores.
As for the last option "Play a sound when the conversion is finished", users may select a sound from their own sound file or choose one from the DVD Converter sound files.

Under tab "User Interface", there are some settings for File list's appearance and the reaction of double-clicking a file.
